Welcome to Just Vault!

JUST VAULT CLUB IS ON SUMMER BREAK.  SESSIONS WILL RESUME in OCTOBER 2010.  STAY TUNED TO THE CLUB HOURS PAGE FOR LATER DETAIL~~~

What a great Summer! The building got a little steamy at times, but that didn't slow our vaulters or the coach down.  We had quite a few new kids deciding to pursue a venture in the pole vault, we are excited to see them back in the fall.  Our college vaulters came back practicing on specific parts of their technique, to open doors & create opportunities for great heights to prevail.
After taking two years off AJ Foy is back! Attending Missouri Southern this fall, we are excited to see him pursue his pole vault dream.  Welcome back AJ.
Tim McHale attends Emporia State and has significantly improved his run, plant & especially his take off with his continued dedication, good luck this year Tim! Time for 15'0 buddy.
And Sara Page(PR 11'7), Missouri State 4A champ is off to Colorado state & Sydney Haase(PR 12'0), Missouri State 3A champ is off to Missouri Southern.  Go gett'em girls!
Hannah Cooper will be transferring to William Jewell this fall.  Last year Hannah jumper 11'7 at Mizzou.  Lookout NAIA, big things are coming.
Coach Cooper & Jewell are having discussions about Todd volunteering some of his time for the William Jewell vaulters.  Oh no, could it be round two college coaching.  It wouldn't surprise me at all.

Street Vaults were a lot of fun this year.  Thanks to all our super stars that were able to attend.  Club was very busy this summer, so we didn't get to attend as many street vaults as we wanted.   Emily Brigham, started jumping w/ Coach Cooper in June 2010, her personal best was 10'6.  At her first street vault Emily shattered that PR w/ a new shiny one of 12'0....woohoo Emily!!!! And then again in Gardener, KS street vault.
Lookout Kansas their is a new Sheriff in town & 5A competitions could get very exciting in the next couple of years.  Emily is an exceptional athlete, her speed & desire to do what it takes to make big things happen,  will be greatly rewarded.

Joe Burkett just won't slow down.  A special thanks to Granpa Bill for his dedication on bringing the Jeff City crew up to jump almost every week this summer, Joe broke his own US Record at the Missouri Show Me Games this summer with a new vault of 14'9!  Wow Joe, what will happen next.  Joe  has incredible speed & his technique is becoming very consistent.  Missouri should be very afraid.

Casey Bowen is in great health & excited about his pole vault future.  He proved that to us a few weeks ago @ the Gardener Track & Field Club competition with a jump of 16'0.  Casey has incredible technique & speed.  Kansas Pole Vaulters you should be very afraid.

Logan Wheatley got a PR this summer @ the El Dorado Street Vault of 11'6.  Logan is a dedicated vaulter, along w/ his other sports, but says he loves the pole vault the most.  Thanks Barb for always getting him up here to practice.

Our youngest vaulter - Miller Fryer, PR'd at El Dorado Street vault with 7'0.  You can find Miller on utube, thanks to his dad.  Two weeks later Miller PR'd @ Just Vault competition with 7'6.  Miller will be a great asset to Liberty High School in a few years.  Now you want to talk about energy, Miller has enough for all of us.  And he loves to pole vault.  Millers dad "Todd" advised us that it was a tough decision on what he wanted to do.  Either pole vault or fencing....Miller we are glad you chose pole vaulting.

A big special thanks to all the parents that take the time to do what it takes to get our superstars here...  We have incredible athletes attending our club, pole vault families are special in many ways, they have something special inside that only a pole vaulter knows about.  We are so blessed to be a part of this unique world we work/play in. - Thank you all.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE FUNDS TO REPLACE.....RECYCLE!!!!!
Looks like we are repairing more & more top pads and modules.  Our springs storms did some crazy damage to many pits.  If you have torn D rings & seams that can be repaired, give me a call & shoot me some pictures of the damage & I will give you a quote.
If your skins are in pretty good shape, we can build up the foam & save you a lot of money.

Pole pole bags & base pads are a hit, I am sewing as fast as I can.
Our bungy’s, are extra strength, as we all know how long the others bungy's last.  We are making them out of 3/8" surgical latex tubing, its much stronger, a little bit more, but hey they last!

Just Vault has gone green AGAIN!!!! Checkout our used pole page – we are pole recycling….One pole you have no use for, may be a new start for another vaulter. Give me a call or shoot me an email & let me know what you have.
